Etsy Feature: HoopsyDaisies

Today I wana share a beautiful conversation that I had with Georgia from Hoopsydaisies....and yes I love the shop's name!!

She makes beautiful products and her passion is so inspiring!!

- What is your favourite part of designing embroidery hoops?
and have you always wanted to do that?

G : My mother thought me to cross stitch when i was 10 years old.
I spend my summers stitching various of patterns.
As I grew older i stopped for many years.I studied interior design and i worked in this field for 13 years.

A year ago i found hundreds of embroidery supplies in my mothers closet, and my passion regenerated.Stitching became my escape.

Designing my embroidery hoops is my passion.I just love to create.I really love to collaborate with my customers to create personalized pieces.

- Which is your personal favourite design?
G : If i had to choose from one of my designs i would pick the one i made for mother's day.

- How does your normal working day looks like?
G : My day is full of things to do.I work at home and i am a mother of a three year old little boy,so not much time left...

- What is your most memorable moment, when opening a shop on Etsy?

I opened my etsy shop HoopsyDaisies on April of 2012 and my most memorable moment was when i saw my lucky charm on Etsy Finds newsletter on December. That was a great exposure for my shop and my lucky charm brought a lot of luck to many people!!!

Thank you Georgia, for sharing this.

All images belong to HoopsyDaisies

Think about you all the time!!

Its been one crafty week, with so many fun projects to share!!

This is the card I made for Beyondgreychallenges

I did some layering ( yes i love it, I know you can tell :) ). The patterned paper is handmade, then to highlight it more, I coloured some of it with pencil colours.
The image is hand drawn and coloured with water colours!!
Hope you enjoyed!!

Sunday Brunch!!

So from the title you may think this post is about food....but you are wrong, because its about perking up the table setting to those super fun Sunday brunches out on the porch!!
This candle holder, is for the challenge at Lessology, I wanted to do a non paper project for this challenge.....and here is the result. For my upcycled item, I used a broken glass for this project.

Bringing you some freshness....

The strawberry body shop range smells completely delicious!
I love the shower gel, it smells amazing and leaves a nice feel.

The body lotion moisturizes well and is not very greasy, its kinda the winner for me from the whole range!!
And in the super cute lil tub is the strawberry lip balm....love the texture, not too sticky....hydrates well....and smells amazing ( I just can not get over the whole "strawberry fragrance")

A glittery gown if you will....

Today I wana share a very girly card, that I made for BeyondGreyChallenges
I used a blue handmade sheet, cut out some hearts and stuck it all over the paper, (cant see most of them)
I drew a gown and outlined it with glitter, then filled in some detailing.

DIY : Jeweled Ankle Strap

I love these pair of blue heels, but it was a lil too plain for parties and honestly I didn't like the ankle strap too much....so I decided to change it up a bit.

Here is what you need-
- A pair of heels with ankle straps
- some stones
- jumprings

- Measure around your ankle, then make a chain of jeweled stones of the same length.

 - Cut off the old ankle strap and put the jeweled chain through the loop, if the loop is too small, attach a chain to the jeweled stones.
- Attach a lobster clasp to the end of chain, and your heels are ready for the next party!!

Its in the air...

Hello there!! So so sorry for such a late post, finally I am all good again and have all the energy for a lot of fun DIYs.....so stay tuned!!

But on a much sweeter note, the weather here couldn't be more beautiful...and there is a fresh smell of rain in the air....which is so relaxing!!
So I made a list of scents which give me a similar feeling!

Topping the list would be , Ralph lauren, YSL and Dolce and Gabbana
