Wishing for some sun!!

Hi everyone....Its been a long time, since I did some card work. Here is the one I made for the challenge at Yvonne's blog

I used orange and green handmade paper for the background, the flowers are hand drawn and painted with watercolours.

The image is hand drawn as well and painted with acrylics...and a little hand stitching with beads to pretty up the card!

Now who wouldn't want a little sunshine?

Summer to Fall....any colour you want!!

When putting an outfit together....I get more excited about the arm candy....

I love mixing metal with beads bracelets and making it more colourful!!

Wind and Snow

 The weather is still annoying.....keep changing from hot and cold!

Right now I would do anything to be better and eat yummy food.

So here is how I am passing my time :)

 

I know its weird dreaming about snow when you are sick!! =P

 

 



DIY: Statement Cuff

No matter if you dress up in monochrome or pastels....but an statement cuff is always enough to turn heads!!

 

What you need

- A plain cuff

- colourful rhinestone chains

- strong adhesive

 

 

- Measure the chains and cut according to the length of the cuff

 

- Decide the design and stick the chains one by one

 

 

 

Your cuff is ready to catch all the attention :)



Pretty Plum

Nothing cheers me up then a pretty nail paint!!...Since I gathered enough energy to give myself a manicure....I am already feeling so much better :)

 

I love this shade....I wana try this with pink and silver along...

 

 

I love the super fine glitter in the colour....soo pretty !!

Here we are back to another Monday, but it just feels so bad, when one is sick. The whole weekend I spent in bed with loadss and loads of coffee and in hope of getting better soon.

 

 

I hope you all had a great weekend.....and we will get back to all the awesome DIYs as soon as I feel better :)

DIY : Tassel Earrings

 

I guess this would be the most light weight earring ever!!

 

 

What you need

- embroidery floss

- jump rings

- thin wire

- earring hook

 

- Wrap the wire at the center of the embroidery floss

 

- Don't remove the paper bands around the floss, fold in half and wrap with thin wire again

 

 

- Remove the paper bands, and cut all the loops at the ends

 

- Attach jum rings and earring hooks.

 

You can make any amount of colours or even mix two shades together

Pucker 'n' Pout

I have never been into glosses as much as I am now, I just didn't like the whole " sticky" feel.

So, recently I tried a few by benefit and I m in love...moreover with the packaging I guess!!

The packaging is cute as a button, you just can't throw it away...

I am stacking all these empty pretty boxes =P

The favourite shade for me would be dandelion, it is such a pretty shade of pink!!

What are your thoughts on glosses??



DIY: Gold Candlestands

Lately I am very much into gold décor, and I keep trying all the ideas....

 

Here is an easy and beautiful one

 

 

What you need

- spray paint

- pretty candle stands

 

- Clean the surface.

- Apply a primer, if needed

 

- Apply 2-3 coats, for a good coverage and nice finish

 

 



Chubby sticks....dimpled chin!!

The cutest crayon ever!!

I know they are not tinted enough, but the company launched the intense range to solve that issue.

 

But the best part that I like about these sticks is mixing colours....and moreover they are definitely buildable!!

 

Layering the orange over the pink, gives the prettiest peach shade, you can find.

 

The possibilities to make your own shades with these five chubbys is countless.

 

So go ahead, make a shade you like :)

 



Navy blue and crisp white

I love layering a pretty shirt with a favourite tank top.

 

I love the trend of sheer and lace shirts. So I decided to make one out of a lovely blue fabric that I found.

And I love how you can layer with different tank tops, to tone done or bright up the outfit

 



DIY : Shell Earrings

I love the beautiful shades of shells, and how amazing they look as jewellery.

 

What you will need

- Shells ( gold painted)

- Earring hooks

- Crystal balls

 

- Attach the crystal ball to the wire and then to the earring hook

 

- Finish both the earrings and join in the FUN!!
